TUESDAY DAILY REFLECTIONS 12TH APRIL 2022
Topic: God Sees You
For you are my hope, O LORD;
my trust, O God, from my youth.
Psalm 71:5
Consider your closest and healthiest relationships, the people dearest to you. What binds you to them? What are the energies and dynamics that fuel the enjoyment of being together? Is it attraction? Is it the effect you have on one another? If you look closely at the reality of the relationship, do you see a strong trust between you? And if you look under the threads of trust that bind you, do you see a foundation of trust in being known, knowing the other, feeling seen, being loved and accepted and affirmed?
Whenever or however God became a source of hope for you—whether it was in your youth or not—God has always known and loved you. God sees you and accepts you and is sending you encouragement each day. Are you paying attention and responding? That is how we show God our trust, how we deepen our relationship with God. – Sr. Julia Walsh F.S.P.A.
